Dr. Okumu is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon and orthopedic surgeon. He is the only surgeon in the United States certified to perform both robotic spine surgery and robotic total joint replacement surgery, including specialization in Mako Robotic Arm-Assisted Surgery. Dr. Okumu has expertise in treating spinal and orthopedic conditions, including disc herniation, spinal stenosis, arthritis, muscle and tendon tears, and bone fractures. He earned his medical degree at UC Davis Medical School and completed an orthopedic surgery residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco.
